A REVIEW OF PHOTONICS ON CRYTALS

We give an summary from the Finite-Variance Time-Domain (FDTD) process and its software to modeling photonic crystal defect structures. The application in the FDTD method for calculation of band structures as well as 3D Bloch eigenmodes of photonic crystal slab constructions and photonic crystal fibers is reviewed in addition to the simulation of t
